When Tina Mucklow described the battery in Cooper’s briefcase, she was most probably describing a No. 6 Dry cell. For the younger viewers, these were some of the first radio batteries (sometimes called the “Columbia Battery”). They were very common for science experiments and hobby use in the 1970s. They were 6.0625 inches long and about 2.5 inches in diameter.
