This is the point of departure for the Skyjacker, the aft stairway on a Boeing 727. The white paddle-like device on the fuselage (left of opening) is the so called “Cooper Vane,” a device added to the 727 after the skyjacking to prevent the aft stairs from being opened in flight. |
