What is the “Victor Airways Project?”
One night last February (2008), I was thinking about how Cooper
could have jumped into the night without any idea where he was. FBI Special
Agent
I did a great deal of research (I just concluded it this morning (June 19, 2008)) and I believe Cooper used a bit of trickery to ensure he was flown along the path he wanted without having to specify.
You might ask, “Why wouldn’t he just say fly here?” Well there are two reasons for that. One, it would give investigators a place to search for him. And Two, it would have told investigators something about his background. They would have narrowed the suspect pool considerably, if they only had to seek people with detailed knowledge of aircraft navigation.
While I am developing a “Final Report” I am making my raw files available to anyone who wants them.
You may download them below. [Please don’t link to these files]
